Here we have Kate plus 8… seconds of silence! On Thursday Kate and her twins Cara and Mady Gosselin appeared on the Today show and you won’t believe what they said! Well, actually they didn’t say much of anything. When asked several questions by interviewer Savannah Guthrie, they didn’t speak. Or did they?
Sometimes actions speak louder than words and in some cases silence is a massive plea for attention. It seemed as though the twins actually tried to deflect attention on the live show when asked personal questions about how they are “doing.” When Guthrie is met with no response, Kate anxiously encourages one of her girls by saying “Mady, [your] words.” Later saying “this is the most wordless I’ve heard [them] all morning but I don’t want to speak for them but, Maddie go ahead…” Again – nothing from either Cara or Mady.
Later, Mady does admit when asked if people have the wrong impression of them, “A lot of people think that filming our show has damaged us, but its only really helped.”
Only time will tell what the twins were actually trying to say by not saying anything… did they just clam up or was it planned? Could be pure genius on their part – everyone’s talking now aren’t they?
